We ship the grains fresh on the day, and kefir is very hardy and survives transport. If transport takes longer and the kefir in the bag does not smell fresh, do this:

Throw away the “transport” milk that comes with the package.
Make kefir as usual, but for the first 2-3 times in small batches: use just enough milk that the grains are right under the milk surface and leave it at room temperature for 24 hours.

After that you must discard the kefir (not the kefir grains) you have made. The grains then get used to your type of milk, and after that it works as usual and smells fresh and tangy.

At PostNord it sometimes takes 2 days to register/update the information. We register and send everything with a tracking code, and it is only their system that is updated afterwards. In the PostNord app you get the information as soon as it is available.

• PostNord collects and delivers letters every other day. It usually takes 3-4 days, and 2-3 days for 1st class letters.
• DHL collects twice a week from us (Wednesday and Friday) and usually has a transit time of 3-4 working days.

Large parcels or expensive products are always sent via DHL because of the insurance. When you receive the parcel, check it immediately, as the insurance only covers a short time, see DHL.
